Early Character Exploration

These early concepts were developed before the final character design was defined. The name Bloog emerged at the same time as the initial exploration of the green goo creatures, shaping both the visual direction and the tone of the project from the very beginning.

We strongly believed in the strength of the name due to its sound, simplicity, and memorability. Bloog naturally helped define the characters’ personality—innocent, funny, and a little silly—guiding their expressions, shapes, and overall behavior.

This exploratory phase was essential to establishing the visual identity and emotional appeal of the Bloogs, resulting in characters that feel playful, approachable, and full of life.
